What Audi MMI system do I have?
Here at thenavman.com we get asked this question all the time and it can become very confusing to know exactly what system you have in your Audi vehicle. Over the years Audi has installed more than ten different types of systems and variants! It's no wonder it can become a bit of a "head-scratching" moment.
So, let's try and explain the different systems below to help you find the product that's correct for your vehicle.

What does my system look like?
Below we have listed some example images of what all these systems look like. The easiest way to know 100% what system you have fitted is to check your MMI software version information. How to check this can be found further down this article.

How do I check my Version Information?
Navigating to the following on your MMI system:
- Select the "Setup" button or "Menu" button
- Select "Setup MMI"
- Select "Settings"
- Select “Version Information”
Below is a table showing the various button combinations for different vehicles. To check your version information, you need to enter the REM (Red Engineering Menu). This is shown in the first column of the diagram below.
Hold down both buttons highlighted in red at the same time for approximately 5 seconds and release. (Screen similar to below will show). Now select "Version Information"
You now have your version information! Horahhh! You can now browse our store and purchase the correct product for your system :)
