Description:

Update your Audi vehicles Virtual Cockpit (VC) to the latest release for all the additional benefits. A broad list of changes included as follows:

  • General performance improvements
  • Sports layout preparation.(Requires a coding tool to activate such as OBD11 Pro/VCDS once updated)
  • Multitude of bug fixes (Please ask support for more information specific to your model)
  • Oil temperature starts from 45°C, (Down from 60°C).
  • Previous Virtual Cockpit (VC) tab is saved into memory for the next drive.
  • Audi Smartphone Interface (ASI) tab added if missing or displaying as "settings" when using CarPlay or Android Auto. (Requires previously activated feature - can be purchased as part of our update bundles) - TT and R8 models only.
  • Intermediate steps can be coded in the speedometer! (Requires a coding tool such as OBD11 Pro/VCDS once updated)
  • much more undocumented changes/fixes..
 

Additional Requirements:

  • There must be no errors in control units 17 or 5F
  • You must be on the latest firmware/software version available for your MMI system ( Sold as part of our update bundles.) Please speak to support if you need clarification./assistance.
  • We may require your vehicles Virtual Cockpit (VC) part number if you have an A3 / A6 / A7 / Q7 or subsequent S and RS models. This can be found using a diagnositic tool such as VCDS or OBD11.

Is This The Right Update For My Vehicle?:

Please check your current system version information by navigating to the following:

 

1. Enter in the RED Engineering menu. This is different per vehicle. See below:

TT | R8 | A4 | A5 | Q5 | Q7:

Hold the NAV in the up position  + RADIO in the down position at same time for approx 5 seconds and release.(Example below)

Enter in the RED Engineering menu

A3 | A6 | A7:

Hold the TOP LEFT + RETURN buttons at same time for approx 5 seconds and release.(Example below)

2. Select "Version Information"

Audi Delphi MSH2 Scale Map + Activation 2021 - red menu

This product is suitable for vehicles with any of the following media versions only:

  • MHI2_ER_xxxxxx_xxxxx
  • MHI2Q_ER_xxxxx_xxxxx
  • MHI2_US_xxxxxx_xxxxx

3. Once you have your version information you can close the engineering menu using the same button combination.
